Our waterproof pvc vinyl membrane, developed by Global Dec-k-ing Systems Inc., is a world class waterproofing membrane second to none.  It is a 3-ply reinforced vinyl membrane. Our 40 mil product has a 10 year warranty and can be used for any existing surface that is not over a living area. For over living space (roof decks) and for new decks for both walking and non-walking surfaces, our 60 mil vinyl membrane is required by code, and it carries a 15 year warranty.

There is an immense quality difference between our vinyl and other vinyls.   Our Vinyl is a waterproofing membrane system that does not rely on caulking, capping or adhesive.   It is a triple ply, poly reinforced vinyl and is vinyl on both the front and back.   What this means is that when we are welding our vinyl together, we are welding vinyl to vinyl for the full width of the seam, not just the outer edge of the seam (as with fuzzy/fabric back vinyl).   In the same way our flashings, drains, scuppers and overflows are all vinyl-coated, so we have a permanent bond there as well.  

If there is any doubt in the difference of quality between our vinyl and fuzzy/fabric backed vinyl, ask someone to make a pillow full of water out of fuzzy/fabric backed vinyl.   If they can manage to make the pillow, throw it down on the ground and jump on it to see what happens.   Then stop by our showroom for a demo of our water pillow.   We will even let you jump on it indoors.
